This week 8G have been quite excited about Halloween and Bonfire Night and we have centred our lessons around these two events.

After discussing the reasons and traditions behind Halloween, pupils created their own playdoh monsters, produced fact files and created their own stories about their monsters. We also decorated our own spider muffins which were delicious!

During our work on Bonfire Night, we discussed the story and reason behind Bonfire Night, created Wanted Posters about Guy Fawkes and made our own firework pictures using a fork whilst listening to Katy Perry's famous song "Firework." In Maths pupils used their number skills to reveal mystery pictures relating to Halloween.

Next week look out for

-Electricity

-The Romans  , "Who where they?

-Escape from Pompeii

- Length

- Chorley in Bloom
