Today we went to Williamson Park in Lancaster where pupils could explore a range of different bugs. We discussed habitats and diets for some of the creatures we found.

Many of the pupils enjoyed the butterfly house where the butterflies occasionally landed on us, others couldn’t get out of the building quick enough.

Some critters we we met today included:

Butterflies,

Fish,

Terrapins,

Turtles,

Geckos,

Snakes,

Ferrets,

Birds,

Chameleons,

Monkeys,

Meerkats,

Rabbits,

Snails,

Beetles,

Lizards,

Cockeroaches,

Frogs,

Skinks,

Axolotls

After our exploration of the animal world we took time to admire the view over Morecambe Bay whilst having a picnic.
