Hello Everyone,

As we come to the end of another amazing year at Astley Park School, it seems the perfect opportunity to extend my sincerest thanks to parents, governors and staff for all of your continued support. We certainly wouldn’t be able to achieve all the wonderful things we do without it.

There have been such a lot of fantastic developments at the school over the last year which have all had an incredibly positive impact for all our pupils. It has been a very exciting year and quite action packed, in particular receiving 'Outstanding' in our Ofsted inspection, gaining the Equality, Online Safety and LPPA Mark, amazing sports week activities, Y6, Y7 and Y10 residential activity holidays, fantastic fundraising efforts including Bingo nights, Games nights, Art & Craft nights, Discos and our Summer Fair.

This year we held our very first Y6 graduation ceremony; they all looked amazing in their official cap and gown. We then held a party in school after lunch.  Please remember to check out the website for all of the photographs from all of our recent events, including the Year 6 Graduation, Primary Phase and Secondary Phase Awards Assemblies and our Y11 Leavers Assembly.  Thank you to Miss Bamber who volunteered to take all the photographs at each event.  The photos looked fantastic and are a lovely keepsake for parents to have.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend best wishes to staff and pupils moving on to pastures new and offer a warm welcome to those joining us at Astley Park in September.

I hope you all are able to enjoy a lovely summer break and take the opportunity to spend some quality time together. I’ll look forward to seeing you all at school in September.
