We are still on the theme of ‘Whatever the Weather’ in 8G and focusing on hot and sunny.

Yesterday we started some jellyfish sun-catchers. We ripped up small pieces of tissue paper and placed them into a plastic pouch ready to be laminated. Today we finished them by using our fine motor skills to cut out the jellyfish body and then stick on long pieces of ribbon. I think you’ll agree they look lovely up on our window!

Today we read our story ‘Sharing a Shell’ again. We haven’t read it since last week but still remembered lots about what happened in the story. We could even join in with some of the sentences when Miss Heaton was reading it. Afterwards some of us practised our letter formation, independently copying words from the book in the workstation.

Well done 8G, what a super start to the week :-)
