We’ve had a busy couple of days in oak class this week.

Some of us visited the park. We did great turn taking with our friends, and super sharing! We played on the see-saw, we went on the swings, we had a great time spinning on the roundabout and we loved taking turns, going down the slide.

To celebrate Halloween we completed some Halloween colouring and painting. We used our colour core board to choose what colour we wanted. We coloured pumpkins, ghosts, bats and witches hats! We carved pumpkins, we took all the seeds out of the pumpkin and drew a face on the pumpkin to cut out. We also listened to lots of Halloween songs, including a class favourite, halloween wheels on the bus!

On Friday some of us got to go swimming at Hindley baths. We splashed, we jumped in and most importantly, we had fun!

This weekend, some of us will be celebrating bonfire night, in oak class we celebrated bonfire night by making our own chocolate sparkler! We used a breadstick, we dipped the breadstick in chocolate and sprinkles, our chocolate sparklers were yummy! As well as bonfire night, there is another celebration happening this weekend, it’s our friend Jack’s birthday! Jack brought us some in some delicious cakes to celebrate his birthday. Thank you Jack and happy birthday!
