What a great first week back for 9A. We all came back well rested with lots of stories about what the learners did over the holidays.

The learners were all put into different houses for the half term and are linked up with learners in  year 7 and 8. They will be earning points for the houses. Check out which house your young person is in on the photographs.

Our community visits this term are taking us to Withy Grove Park. It was lovely to see the learners problem solve and help each other on different pieces of equipment. Even the teachers had a go on the slide and zip wire!
We have restarted our swimming lessons at Hindley with a new teacher Charlie. She was super impressed with how good our learners were at swimming.

We were then very lucky as Mrs Smith brought her new baby rabbits in to visit. Everyone loved seeing them, so much so that one of the pupils are going to be rehoming one of them.

Our Star of the Week  was Daniel for answering lots of questions and being very motivated with his learning. Well done Daniel.
