For the summer term our topic is “Under the Sea”. For the last 2 weeks we’ve been doing the story of the little mermaid.
Our continuous provision has included;
- Under the sea tough trays
- Exploring sea creatures
- Cleaning the whales and mark making in the foam
- Matching and exploring with shells
- Making and decorating mermaid tails
Our group activities have included;
- The little mermaid sensory story
- Under the sea Sensology
- Under the sea themed attention autism
- Music
- Art
- P.E
- Maths
We also celebrated Eid by joining in an Eid themed attention autism.
On Fridays we’ve been learning about plants. Mrs Gregory did an attention autism focusing on flowers and their different colours. We had plant themed continuous provision out, we pretended to plant carrots in the mud and water them and we made our own flower pots up with images.
