Pride Month is celebrated in June in the UK. This week, Astley Park School is proud to celebrate Rainbow Day through exploring different family types to show diversity within classes, the school and in the community.  Pride is about equality, acceptance and celebrating diversity and learners will access stories with a variety of family types to ensure that everyone is represented and lots of fabulous activities to celebrate this special time in a meaningful way.

On Friday 14th June, learners are invited to wear a bright colour to represent the different colours of the flag representing diversity around the world. Please see below for your class colours. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Spear and The Equality Team - spearc@astleypark.lancs.sch.uk or your class teacher.
