My Communication
My Communication aims to develop expressive and receptive language alongside social communication to enable our learners to become effective communicators. Learners are provided with mates, means and the motivation to communicate across a range contexts. My Communication has a strong focus on the development of functional skills including reading and writing for a clear purpose. Learners have plenty of opportunities to explore books and mark-making materials through real-life contexts that are meaningful to each individual. Early learning and play skills from exploratory to imaginative are developed through exciting themes that enable learners to build a bank of useful vocabulary.
