Miss Della Fera - Pupil & Parent Support Manager
Secondary
Astley Park School is fully committed to investing in parents and carers for the achievement of all our pupils. We see our parents as partners in supporting us to make the best choices for our students.
Being a parent of a child with special needs can be incredibly daunting and we recognise very often parents feel alone and unsuppported. There is help out there but often it is difficult to know where to go to find it. It also seems unfair that some people appear to be able to get more help than others. We aim to change that for parents.
We have so much to offer you in terms of support both within school and outside in terms of signposting you to support and services.
Partnership With Parents
Miss Della Fera is dedicated to their role as Pupil & Parent Support Manager who work in close partnership with parents, carers and other professionals. This ensures that we can effectively meet the needs of all our pupils and their families in a caring, supportive and friendly environment.
She is proud of our 'Leading Parent Partnership Award', which has impacted hugely on our school as we continue to grow.
