On Friday 7th March, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day across school.

International Women’s Day is a global awareness day, celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

 
International Women’s Day is a day to: 

  • Recognise and celebrate the positive contributions women make to society 
  • Highlight positive role models 
  • Talk about and breakdown toxic stereotypes  
  • Promote gender equality by tackling discrimination and disadvantage 

 

The theme for International Women’s Day 2025 is 'Accelerate Action' with the belief that collectively, we can Accelerate Action for gender equality. 

Classes are being invited to celebrate through an array of activities. Please keep a look out for our blogs showing what our learners get up to across school.
