  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working
  • Experience and confidence in managing pupils whose behaviour can be challenging

Summary
Astley Park School is seeking to appoint a keen, enthusiastic and committed temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2B to join our friendly and supportive team covering the vacancy of the current postholder. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative school community.

The Role - under the direction of the class teacher, you will:
  • Support learning activities for individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Help monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual targets
  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils to promote progress and attainment

  • Assist with classroom organisation, resources and administrative tasks
