Everyone in Oak class has had a super World Book Day!

We loved seeing our friends in their dressing up clothes. Arav dressed as Paddington Bear, Cosmin bounced around like Where’s Wally? And Leon was Grunt from Megamonster. He told us all about his favourite character and answered questions in grunts - 1 for yes and 2 for no.

This morning we had a surprise visit from one of the Three Little Pigs! We loved his curly tail! Some of us enjoyed a visit to the ‘house of bricks’ - a bouncy castle especially for us to play on! After our big bounce, we spent some time relaxing and listening to a calming story lying on the beanbags with our weighted items to help us to calm. 
 

This afternoon we enjoyed a visit to the sensory room to listen to the Three Little Pigs sensory story! We were very impressed by Yamin who had a taste of the pigs stew. We watched an Attention Autism session and even made Three Little Pigs and their houses before joining the school parade. What a very busy day!
