It was our last day at Bendrigg today and what a busy day we’ve had! We started off the morning with another big breakfast before heading down to the sports hall where we all got a chance to go on the swing. Everyone got to choose their own song and our instructors Mel and Jenny swung us around the hall. Absolutely everybody loved this and said it was brilliant.

We then headed over to the zip line. Some of our learners were very excited for this and some of us, staff included, were a little bit nervous. For those of us who gave it a go it was exciting and a bit scary. Even though some of us didn’t zip line we all got harnessed up and looked over the edge to face our fears.

After lunch, it was time to get harnessed up again and we went over to the indoor climbing. This was another activity that some of us were a bit nervous about, but we didn’t let that stop us and everyone took part and gave it 100%. After a very tiring day we got some well-deserved rest before tea and then it was time for our Christmas disco. We had lots of music and dancing and before we knew it it was time for our final sleep before heading home in the morning.
