Can you actually believe it is the final week of Year 10! This year has gone so so fast but what a great year we have had!
The highlight of this week was our trip to Knowsley Safari Park. We went through the safari park and saw all the animals enjoying the morning sunshine, then we went to watch the sealion show, with Roger and Arthur (the sealions). They were fantastic, performing tricks including waving, 'talking', balancing and catching. Some of us even got splashed when they did a high jump out of the water to hit the raised ball!! After the show we got on the Baboon Bus (we weren't allowed to go through the monkey enclosure in our school minibus for some reason??) which took us around the park again. The animals were clearly familiar with the Baboon Bus as they were more comfortable to approach the bus this time around. The ostriches in particular got up close and personal!! We again saw the deer, the eland, the white rhino and the lions but going through the monkey enclosure was fantastic. They jumped on the bus, swung on the rope and took a ride on the roof. There was lots of screams, squeals and laughter!
It was a great way to end a great year! Bring on Year 11!
