On Monday, some of us went on a Weather Walk around Astley Park to notice all the colours and the weather, whilst some of us, using our Builder bears and an interactive game on the screen in the classroom, worked on dressing appropriately for different weather conditions. In the afternoon, we looked at writing weather reports as part of the World About Me.

On Tuesday, it was Remembrance Day, so we participated in the 2-minute silence, then created our own Poppy Wreath.

On Wednesday, we were working on tally charts and pictograms in maths in the morning and in the afternoon, we learned all about Children In Need and did some Pudsey crafts.

On Thursday, some of us went swimming while others did What’s in the Box. In the afternoon, we learned all about risks, legal and illegal, as part of PSHE and some of our learners explored the sand tray as part of My Sensory Play and did some good communicating about what was in the sensory tray.

Finally, on Friday, we all worked incredibly hard on our writing. We’ve started adding adjectives into our sentences and beginning weather reports based on our Sensory Story all about the weather. We celebrated with some Golden Time and assembly.

Everyone has had a super week, but this week’s Star of the Week goes to George. Well done George and have a great weekend everyone.
