As part of their Duke of Edinburgh volunteering and ASDAN Community Action 10P have been visiting Chorley in Bloom which is a fantastic group of volunteers who keep areas of Chorley looking lovely with plants and greenery for everyone to enjoy.
So far we have moved soil from a raised bed that is being removed. We have also potted up plants so that they can moved to other places when they are needed. There was also lots of watering to be done due to the current dry spell (at long last!). Whilst doing all this we also learn how to keep ourselves and friends safe.
Everyone really enjoyed the experience and look forward to learning more in the coming weeks.
