Happy new year 9G

 

It was so nice seeing everybody in school after our Christmas break.

 

9G shared their Christmas and New Years activities. 

There was lots of visiting families, parties and some of 9G watched fireworks on New Year’s Eve. 9G then entered what they had done into book creator on their iPads. Sounds like there was lots of fun had. 

 

As a class had a group discussion about New Years resolutions. 

Miss Brophy explained that these are promises we make to ourselves and will make us happy in 2022 if we stick to them. We had some ideas.

We had, keeping our bedrooms clean, doing better listening, reading more books and asking for help when we were struggling, in naming but a few. 

When we had decided what one we were doing to do, 9G wrote them on a star .

They are now stuck on our classroom wall to help us remember what we had promise ourselves. 

 

To finish off our week 9G participated in a little bit of yoga. Miss McGee followed the instructions from Comic Kids Yoga and showed the class how to do the moves. They followed Old McDonald’s farm yoga video. Fantastic yoga positions everyone.
