We had 3 fun packed days of festive fun in our Holiday Heroes club held during the Christmas holidays.

We managed to pack in 2 trips to Space sensory rooms in Preston where everyone had lots of fun - it's one of our favourite activities as the facilities are perfect for our pupils and everyone always enjoys the fantastic range of equipment particularly the amazing slide, the swing and the bubble tubes. We also did some brilliant craft activities including making Christmas decorations and beautiful candle holders. Our younger children particularly enjoyed using the balance bikes, scooters, didi cars and wobble boards in the school hall, whilst our older pupils played football and cycled around our bike track. Everyone loved using the new playground, the bucket swing was a popular choice.

We were allocated some additional funding which meant that we were able to offer complimentary hot meals to all pupils and staff each day - which were very welcome in the cold weather.

Thanks to all the staff who worked during the holidays, especially those who stepped in to cover absence at the last minute.
