On Monday we had our final session with Lauren from Northern Rail. We talked about our visit to Manchester last Monday, thinking about what went well, what we had learned and what we enjoyed. In the afternoon we went in to town, we returned our library books to the library and then we shopped for our secret Santa presents.
On Tuesday we looked at picture news, the topic this week was challenging yourself so we had a talk about what challenges we would like to set ourselves. In the afternoon we finished our cross stitch projects. They look amazing.
On Wednesday we practiced for our Christmas performance through out the day and enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner in the hall. In the afternoon we completed some work for our ASDAN folders.
On Thursday we had a final practice of our Christmas performance followed by our Christmas party lunch. We also prepared our presentation ready for share in our learning on Friday.
Friday morning was a lovely Panto in the hall for the whole of secondary. It was lots of fun for everyone. In the afternoon we had share in our learning, we showed parents and carers all of the things we have been up to so far this year.
It’s been a lovely week and we expect next week to be even more enjoyable with the final build up to Christmas.
