Careers Week.
This week it’s been careers week.
The class talked about different jobs and Miss Robertson asked each learner what they wanted to do and what they had to do to be able to do for this job.
The jobs our learners in 8P would like to do were being a driver, road sweeper, a doctor, a nursery teacher, You tuber, police officer and to be happy. ( Can you guess what your child picked).
Then we talked about what you needed to do to help get this job, 8P came up with some brilliant suggestion like cleaning up, being kind, helping people and a learner came up with managing their emotions.
Then some of our learners had to draw what they would like to be and write a little sentence about things they would have to do if they had that job. Others did matching of jobs and what they had to do whilst doing that job.
It was great listening to the wonderful jobs our learners would like to do on finishing their education. Well done everyone.
