Today we invited our adults into school to show them what we have been learning about in R.E.
This term we have been discussing different religious beliefs of how the world was created. We have focused on the beliefs of three different religions: Christianity, Islam and Hinduism.
We have learnt that Muslims believe that Allah created the world and humans from soil, but Christians believe God made the world and humans, and that Hindus believe that the world was created by a lotus flower.
When our parents and carers visited our school we continued our learning on the scientific belief of The Big Bang Theory. We shared how we had explored what space might be like when we visited our Sensory room in the morning and shared photos of our session.
In the afternoon, we revisited The Big Bang Theory and used what we have learned to create a piece of artwork that depicted how we imagined the Big Bang to look. We used glue, glitter, chalk and paint on black card to capture the Big Bang. Then, our adults helped us to create Earth sun catchers to celebrate the creation of our World!
