For Duke of Edinburgh volunteering sessions, 10P have again participated in Chorley in Bloom activities. One of the groups went to Astley Park to pick up litter that other people have left behind. They used special litter pickers and made sure all the rubbish was put where it is supposed to go.
The other group went to the Community Garden where they are helping to make the space into a place that the public can enjoy by sitting amongst the herbs and plants that are growing there. Pupils were moving soil from the raised bed into the borders were more plants will be going.
All pupils really enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to go again.
