What a great week in Maple Class!
In class, we have been exploring a positional seven seas themed sensory story, with our focus word being 'up'.
During our engaging story session, the children enthusiastically explored the concept of 'up' using a variety of exciting props and visual prompts.
We enjoyed a fun-filled sensory session, where the children explored climbing up the ladder and took part in a range of other exciting opportunities, which sparked lots of curiosity and engagement.
To further develop our communication skills, we used communication boards alongside plenty of intensive interaction to support the children in communicating, interacting, and engaging with others.
We also explored the seven seas in our Attention autism in which we engaged with all the sensory aspects of the activity and then used our fine motor skills to create a jelly fish.
Well done maple class!
