World book day in Willow class

What a fun day for Willow class!

We we’re all so excited to dress up and everyone loved showing off their costumes and lovely outfits taking selfies with friends. We joined the school assembly to look at which fairytale character had been sneaking around school caught on the cctv- we guessed it was the big bad wolf!

We talked about our favourite books and told our friends one of our favourite books so they could decide if they would like to read them for theirselves. We then either designed a book cover for our favourite book or for a book we imagined that we would love to read one day.

Second lesson we joined Miss Mahood in the sensory room for an amazing sensory story of the three little pigs. We all squealed like pigs when she sprayed us with water when the wolf fell into the pot!

After dinner we had a go on the bouncy castle and thought about whether a bouncy castle could stand up against Mr Wolf trying to blow it down.
At the end of the day we joined the whole school in a costume parade to look at costumes through school. What a fun end to the day.
