What another brilliant week we’ve had in 9A! The pupils have been responding really well to the class rules and have take all feedback on board. We have had assessment week this week and everyone has worked so hard. We have completed many assessments linked to functional Maths and English skills as well social assessments, such as Lego Therapy.
Whilst half of the class were doing their assessments on Tuesday, we took in turns to do some gardening at the front of the school. They really enjoyed doing all the weeding and tidied up after themselves, which is excellent! This can be seen on the photos on this blog.
We have also had swimming this week for the second group. They really enjoyed going in the big pool and splashing Ms Carter whilst doing front stroke back stroke. They did amazing and did 4 lengths of 25 metres, so 100 metres in total each!
Finally, we have been developing the children’s social skills ready for when they start accessing the community next week. We hope that they all have a brilliant weekend!
