This week 7A have been on fire!!!!!
We have worked extremely hard this week and are all excited about Bonfire night and the fireworks this weekend.

We watched a video all about the history of Bonfire night and Guy Fawkes and asked lots of questions. We then watched another with a brilliant firework display, we got lots of oooooo’s and ahhhhh’s at this point and thought the display was the best we had ever seen.

7A had a lovely art session where we created some great pieces of work. We separated into three groups, the first group were with Miss Robertson and made some sparklers using breadsticks, some melted chocolate and sprinkles. It got quite messy but we loved it.

Group 2 were with Ms Lea and they made some amazing firework pictures using pipe cleaners,paint and Ms Lea’s favourite…glitter! It certainly looked like a firework had gone off with all the glitter everywhere!!!!
Group 3 created their own bonfire with Miss Grant using tissue paper,paint and our very own handprints. We laughed when our hands were painted as it tickled a lot.

We then all moved around so everyone had a chance to do everything.

After we had finished it was snack time and we got to eat our sparklers… this again got quite messy but our faces certainly showed how much we enjoyed them.
