7P went on our first community visit to Astley Park. 
 

On the way we practiced our road safety skills, checking if it was safe to cross the road and saying which place would be the safest to cross. We also spoke about how the weather felt, and what we could see around us on the walk. 
 

When we got into the park we looked at the sensory garden, taking in the smells and textures. We also looked at all the autumn leaves and noticed the different colours. We even had a kick about as we were wearing our wellies. 
 

We then went on the park and practiced our play skills, taking turns on the slide, helping our friends on the equipment and keeping safe. Everyone was very sensible and also did super safe walking back to school. 
 

Next week we are off to the cafe!
