This week in our Food Technology lesson, 8A made a sorting hat which we have all seen when we watched Harry Potter. 

The class followed a step by step instruction sheet and also followed Ms Cullen’s demonstration. 

The learners showed good listening and made super choices throughout the session. 

Firstly the learners had to spread icing onto a biscuit. Then some very sugary sweets were placed in the middle of the biscuit. The learners used their fine motor skills and piped some coloured icing around the edge of an ice cream cone. This was then dipped into chocolate sprinkles. The cone was then placed over the sweets to make an edible sorting hat.

 

8A you all did amazing at listening and following to all the instructions. 

 

Your sorting hats looked amazing and with the smiles on 8A faces, they must of tasted amazing too.
