Last night we were invited to an awards evening with Chorley in Bloom to celebrate ours and others amazing contributions to the community volunteer group.

We were honoured to be presented with a Certification of Appreciation for our amazing continual contribution to the group. We also received an award for our Hedgehog Rescue project where we learnt all about how to protect the Hedgehogs and we then built houses for them. 
 

Our final award was a personal award presented to Jake for Young Gardener of the year 2024, Jake has been working on a continual project for Chorley in Bloom over the course of a year. Jake has been responsible for the design and creation of a caterpillar planter which he made from old tyres. Jake has been very passionate with his project and has been attending each week whatever the weather, the finished project was amazing! 
 

A huge well done and congratulations to all of 11A, you have made us and your school proud!
