As part of this year’s Pride celebration at Astley Park School, classes were given a different colour each to base a piece of artwork on. These are going to be used to make a bigger display with all the colours of the rainbow for our equality display.
9A was given the colour blue and chose an under the sea picture to make. Every one created their own sea scene using a wax crayon and a colour wash with different shades of blue. Then we sprinkled salt on and watched the effect it’s had on the paint.
In a different lesson we learned all about pride month and the different types of families.
