On Thursday we welcomed our friends Rian and Jake to 7P, and we were all very happy to see them! In the morning we had a reading session, which all of our learners did excellently with, some of us went to the Sensory Room, others went to the Sensory Integration Room and some went to the Rainbow Room following our timetable. In the afternoon we enjoyed time outside with other KS3 classes where we renewed old friendships and made new ones. Again, some of us enjoyed time in the Sensory Integration Room and the Rainbow Room.

On the last day of the first week back we spent some time in the morning working on our sharing skills as well as enjoying our class outdoor area whilst some of us followed our timetable and went to the Rainbow Room, Sensory Integration Room and the Sensory Room. We’ve enjoyed some well deserved Golden Time in the afternoon after lots of hard work this week we certainly had earned some time for us to choose!

At lunchtime we’ve continued to go to the hall to eat with the rest of Secondary, and have done some amazing waiting for our lunch, our teachers are very proud of us for how well we’ve coped with this change and how well we’ve done while waiting.

After Golden Time we went to Celebration Assembly which Mr Welsh held in the hall, and everyone did superbly. We celebrated each of the Stars Of The Week and sang Happy Birthday to those who have either celebrated their birthday or have a birthday in the next few days.

Our Star Of The Week this week was Jayden. Jayden is our Star Of The Week for how well he has done in settling into his new school, and new class. Well done Jayden!

We all hope that you have an incredible weekend, and get some well deserved rest ready for another exciting week!
