Fun had on Week 3 as 10A

What fun we have had in 10A this week.

Firstly, we did our first community visit. Half of the class walked into town and looked at the different shops in Chorley, like estate agents, banks, travel agents, just naming a few before doing the class food shop in Iceland for our food tech. The others were driven into town and went off to buy items for our Macmillan coffee morning which is on the 26th September.

The learners were very mature going into the shops and understood stranger danger and which people were safe to talk to.

On Thursday morning it was swimming time. Again the class showed great maturity when walking down, getting changed, going into the water and walking back. We were all very proud of them.

Finally, the learners had a lovely surprise on Friday dinner time. Mr Welsh joined them at their dinner table and as they were top table this week.

They were offered orange and blackcurrant juice and either a cup of tea or a hot chocolate drink.

Hope everyone carries on the fun this weekend.
