On Tuesday, our class took part in a Bikeability session with Chorley School Sports Partnership on the school MUGA. It was a great chance for everyone to develop their cycling skills in a safe environment.

We began by trying on helmets, and the team from CSSP made sure each one was fitted correctly. They checked straps, adjusted sizes, and ensured we were all ready to ride safely.

Once we were set, we moved onto the bikes. We all started on three‑wheeler bikes, getting used to balancing, steering, and moving at our own pace. A few of us also chose to try two‑wheeler bikes as a challenge.

To build confidence, we practiced riding in circles, focusing on control and smooth turning. We then practiced cycling around the cones. This helped us work on steering and awareness of others.

Everyone showed great effort throughout the session, and it was brilliant to see how much progress was made in such a short time.

Well done 7P! We’re all so proud of you!
