This week on Thursday we celebrated rainbow day. We all learnt the sign ‘rainbow’ and then sang ‘I can sing a rainbow’. Next we all took it in turns to find an item in class that was a different colour of the rainbow to make our own class rainbow.

We then all went off to different tables joining in lots of art activities that Miss Stack sorted for us, these included;

-Threading with rainbow hoops- we enjoyed eating these too!

-Painting rainbow patterns on posters

-Making paper plate rainbows

-painting colourful wellies in raindrops.

Later on we learnt to sign ‘family’ before listening to a story about how families can all be different. We then all came to the front to say who was in our family and what we liked to do for fun with them. Like the story we all had different people in our families. Some of us had sisters and brothers, aunties and uncles, grandparents, mums and dads, foster careers, and even pets. We all liked to do lots of different fun things including, playing football, sleepovers, going to McDonald’s, going shopping, reading books and playing with toys! We then made our own pictures of our families. We then either drew our own family on a picture or cut and glued to show our family.
