8P End of Year Trip 2025–2026

On Tuesday 7th July 2026, 8P went on their end-of-year trip to ReBel Social in Chorley.

As a class, we walked to the venue and practised our road safety skills, identifying safe places to cross the road.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a member of the ReBel Social team, who had drinks waiting for us at our table. After taking off our coats and enjoying a quick drink, it was time to collect our golf clubs and golf balls. The learners independently went up to the counter and collected everything they needed for mini golf.

The course had seven holes and followed a pirate theme, complete with treasure, ships and crocodiles. The learners thoroughly enjoyed exploring each part of the course, and there were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the day. We even went around the course several times before returning our clubs and balls.

After washing our hands, it was time for lunch. Once again, a member of the ReBel Social team came over with the learners' orders. The table fell silent for around 15 minutes as everyone tucked into their pizza and chips!

To finish off the meal, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream.

It was lovely to see the learners taking turns, chatting with one another and enjoying each other's company. They have all grown so much in confidence and independence throughout the year.

We had an amazing time and made lots of wonderful memories.

Thank you, 8P, for making our end of year so special!
