Raising money for Children In Need in Maple Class
Today Maple Class have been doing lots of different activities all about children in need and it’s mascot Pudsey Bear. Some of us came dressed in different colours, spotty T-shirt’s and some of our teachers even had pudsey and blush headbands. For our Attention autism this morning in stage one Miss Howarth pulled out the bucket a Blush Bear headband; another of children in need mascots, some money to show we are raising money for children in need and some different coloured poms to represent the spots on Pudseys bandage. It was then time for stage 2 Miss Howarth painted the outline of pudseys yellow head on a tough tray and then using foam made his bandage. We then used the coloured Pom poms to put the spots on his bandage. In stage 3 it was our turn to decorate pudsey! Miss Howarth took out a colouring sheet with his face, we all took it in turns to choose a colour to spot pudseys bandage with. This afternoon we listened to the children in need song with Bob the builder and other cartoon characters before getting busy with our activities. Outside with Mrs Duxbury we were using lots of different arts and craft tools to decorate different parts of Pudsey, once we had finished decorating him we needed to put him together like a jigsaw puzzle. Inside Mrs Worthington was helping us to take turns to decorate pudseys bandage by using an I want strip to choose a colour, dabbing the bandage and then waiting for our next turn. For afternoon snack we could choose a cake if we wanted one.
