What great fun our senior school aged pupils have had in Holiday Heroes this week. We’ve packed loads of activities into the 2 days that the club has been running this half-term. On Tuesday, we all took part in clay workshops where we were shown how to make models by sculpting the clay and we even took turns to try out the potter’s wheel and make pots. We also played games outside, used the iPads and Nintendo Switch, chilled out in the sensory room and used the scooters and body boards in the hall.

We were very lucky on Wednesday as the weather was kind to us and we were able to have an inflatable assault course outside. We all loved it - and we demonstrated our school values of kindness and teamwork when we took turns with the smaller children and even helped them to climb up the net to reach the slide. We also had a bouncy castle in the hall for more bouncing fun! We took advantage of the sunshine and played on the climbing frame and kicked the balls around the field when we weren’t bouncing.

We hope everyone enjoys the long Bank Holiday weekend and look forward to seeing you all again next time.
