That’s it folks, last week of school in 2024 and boy has it been busy!!!

On Monday our learners performed twice in our Astley Park’s got Talent show. Everyone had a great time and we hope you agree that they all did an amazing job!!!! Well done 7A.

On Tuesday we had our community visit to Asda, we visited the café and all sat together chatting about Christmas and what we had put on our lists for Santa. Everybody is getting very excited.

Wednesday was our class Christmas trip, we went to Rascals play centre where we played for a while.

All that playing had worked up an appetite so we sat down for lunch. There was pizza, fish fingers, hotdogs and chips!!! After lunch a surprise visitor appeared…. SPIDER-MAN, 7A were very excited to see him. We had a chat then all went back to the bus, full and very tired. It was as one learner said “the best day ever!”

Thursday was another exciting day, 7A had their pj’s on ready for Breakfast with Santa.

We had croissants, pain au chocolate, toast, fruit, milk and fruit juice. We ate breakfast whilst watching a live stream from Santa’s village in Lapland. The visitors in Lapland were waving at us as they knew Santa was on his way to Astley Park. 7A were VERY excited, they all closed their eyes and made a wish for Santa to come ….when there was a knock on the door…in walked the Chief Elf and one of his Deputies who asked us to shout Santa’s name, but not too loud as we didn’t want to scare him, in he came and delivered everyone a present as they were ALL on the good list. Well done 7A. Everyone absolutely loved Santa’s visit, he was amazing and they thanked him for making the trip to see them when he is sooooo busy.

Friday was Party day. 7A played games including Pass the Parcel and musical statues. We had Party food in the afternoon and then went to Mr Welsh’s Celebration Assembly in the hall. We also sang Christmas songs. 7A are even more excited for Christmas if that is at all possible!!!

Team 7A hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
