On Friday 15th December we will be celebrating Hanukkah in school. Hanukkah is the Jewish festival of light, celebrating a military victory of the Jews over foreign leaders. Hanukkah means dedication in Hebrew - the festival represents joy and is usually celebrated over 8days, on the eighth night candles are lit. Please see the image for other traditions. Pupils will be celebrating in class with pathway specific activities.
