Oak class have enjoyed learning in school and at home
This week Oak class have been very busy learning with their teachers in school and their mums and dads at home. Although we are not all in school, we have been able to see some of our friends on two Teams calls. On one call Miss Curry read a very exciting story about Yoff, Zid and Mab (three colourful aliens) and we answered lots of questions about The Best Dress Ever. In class, Isla has been busy playing with her friends, Harvey and Toby, as well as doing some excellent sight reading with Mrs Baxendale and counting with Miss Curry. Enrico had a really fun time learning how to use a new toy called a Rip Cord Launcher with Miss Woods, Enrico made the spinner fly super high! Harvey has been practicing his letter writing with Miss Curry, playing very nicely with his friends and did some great sight reading. Toby has also been playing very nicely with his friends and making some fantastic buildings using Lego with Miss Armstrong. Miss Woods and Miss Curry were very happy to see Ayah, Bobby, Oscar and Noah on the computers in 1 to 1 sessions. Bobby has been practicing writing numbers with his mum and playing a fun turn taking game at home. Oscar has done a very good job at getting ready by himself, making speech sounds with Miss Curry and using his Numicon to practice counting. Ayah has also been doing some good counting with her Numicon at home with her mum. Miss Woods really enjoyed doing Play-Doh Gym with Noah over the computer and all of the teachers in Oak class were happy to see Noah and Eleanor's learning on Education City.
