Welcome back to the new Spring term and Happy New Year :-)

8G have got off to a flying start on our new theme of ‘Doctor, Doctor’. Monday morning started with a warm welcome back and sharing all our exciting news from over the holidays.

We then turned our thinking brains back on after the long break and started our topic of measurement.

After lunch we rolled up our sleeves ready to get messy and make our very own X-ray pictures of our hands, they look very realistic! 

Today we started our new class story ‘Topsy and Tim go to the doctors’. We read the first part of the story and then went into groups to practise answering questions about what we had read, and some of us were putting pictures from the story in order. 

This afternoon we had great fun doing ‘What’s in the box’! In stage 3 we all had a turn at labelling our friend with different body parts. 

What a great start back 8G :-)
