11R were tasked in making the public aware that feeding the pigeons at our Chorley in Bloom site, opposite McDonalds is causing more harm than good.

 

The site was started as a community edible garden and due to people feeding the bird the crop was being damaged and contaminated so that it wasn’t fit to eat. We are sad that this has happened and hope one day we can make it an edible garden again. To do this were are hoping to educate the public of Chorley to stop feeding the pigeons at this location. 
 

We made signs in ICT and laminated them. On our way to PE today we placed them in the bedding boxes at the garden, we noticed as usual someone had feed the birds. Fingers crossed this will work.
