What a fantastic day!!!

If you have been following our blogs you will know 10R have been studying David Walliams in parts of their English sessions. We have read some of his stories, looked at David himself and even written to him. One of the stories we first read together as a class was Billionaire Boy. The story is about a young boy called Joe Spud who had a very rich father and all the money and toys in the world. However Joe didn’t have the only thing he had ever wanted and that was a friend.

To celebrate the hard work 10R have been doing we went to watch the story on stage at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. We were very, very lucky as we managed to even get the front two rows which gave us an amazing view of the show. It was a fantastic day and was so nice to see the class laughing and enjoying the show together. We even found time to fill our faces with goodies while watching.
