Hello Everyone!!!
I have to say that myself and Ms.Lea and Mr Connor are missing you all so very much but we are so pleased that you are safe at home. What a busy week you have had. Your parents and Carers have been keeping in touch to tell me what you have all been getting up to so I thought it might be nice for you to see what you have all been up to:
Isaac did lots last week & over the weekend such as jigsaws, pairs with the Pop family & Paw Patrol tiles, spelling with some of his own educational games, reading and writing the names of the Pop characters and saying their names. Over the weekend, Isaac spent time with Dad out in the garden and helped cut the lawn, weed the flower beds, wash the cars & repaint his blackboard...on top of that - he managed to do his daily exercise too!! Phew Isaac!!! - you are doing so well!!
Georgia has been busy doing lots of home learning on Education City, helping Mum at home with lots of things including cooking and playing table tennis in the garden. Georgia has been cutting, washing and serving salad for tea as well as playing lots of shopping games using real coins for coin recognition.
James has been busy playing in the garden, he sent me a fantastic video of himself making music out of a pretend drum kit made from boxes, tubs and bins!! Well done James on working hard on your homework.
Jessie has been playing lots of games with Mum at home and also doing lots of work in Maths and English. Beautiful writing Jessie - keep up the good work!!
Joshua has spent time in the garden and been out walking with Mum. He took some bread with him to feed the birds as he is worried that they might go hungry. Well done Joshua on working hard with your Education City games.
Nathan has done some superb work with arrays and multiplication this week as well as telling me what he has been doing by sending his own email!! Loved your video explanation of Friction.
Leah has also been working really hard on her homework and is enjoying exercising with Joe Wicks every morning.
Eleanor has been busy making sure that she walks ten thousand steps a day during her one hour of exercise as well as working very hard with her learning at home. She has been enjoying the spring sunshine and watching the lambs!!
This week I have spent lots of time reading about what you have all been doing but I have also been walking my dogs, Boo and Cam, as well as looking after my garden and chickens
Ms. Lea is still in school and doing a great job as 'Super FirstAid Woman', she is looking after everyone!!!
Look out for my video for you on The Teacher Cloud portal. I wonder who will be Star of the Week this week??
Have a great week and stay safe everyone
Mrs Powell.
