Hello Everyone. I hope you are all keeping safe and well. The blog is coming to you a day early as it is bank holiday tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy yourself on this special day!
It has been another busy week in 7G. I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine! We certainly have!
Let's have a look on what you have all been up to this week!
Eshan
Eshan has been working hard on all his work again this week. He has been practising some of his gross motor skills by popping bubble wrap with his feet and bowling with the bottles he made last week outside. He now has six bottles to bowl with! Eshan has also been playing some maths games on the computer to test his maths knowledge which he enjoys. Eshan even emailed me back on purple mash this week using 2email. It was really nice to talk to you! Well done Eshan!
Katie
Katie has been doing some arts and crafts at home this week. She made a Chinese lantern out of paper by herself! Katie has also been on education city trying some very tricky activities! Wow Katie!
Tyler
Tyler has also been working hard on the work he has been set on education city. He has also been doing lots of learning at home with his brother. They have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes, learning about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. He has also been doing some phonics and singing some songs. Tyler has been doing some good playing outside! Tyler has also continued to keep up with joining Joe Wicks every morning for some P.E. Super Star Tyler!
Harry
Harry has done some good work practising his letter formation. I can see how hard you have been trying Harry. Well done!
Joshua
Joshua has had another very busy week! He has been working really hard on sorting items by characteristic. Joshua has also been doing lots of good reading and typing words from his extended code word lists! Well done Joshua! Joshua has taken part in different sensory activities at home and is becoming more confident in making toast for himself in the morning using a checklist! Joshua has also had a go at emailing me back using 2email on purple mash! As well as all of this Joshua has been going on some walks. What a fab week!
Reece
Reece has been trying hard with some of his science work on education city this week. He has also been really good at home and is staying safe. Super Star Reece!
Clayton
Clayton has been busy again working hard in school on Monday. He has also been doing some work at home with Nan and is making lots of good choices. Well done Clayton!
So you have heard what the children have been doing ... what about the adults?
Miss Hendy
I have been busy working at home again this week. I have popped into school and made some packs of work for some children who need it at home. Other than that I have been chilling in the garden in the sun, looking after my plants and eating sweets when watching TV with tom. I got some lovely sweets delivered from Grandad Jims Sweet Shoppe in Chorley. They were very yummy!
Mrs Mahood
Mrs Mahood has also been very busy working from home. She has been doing some work in the garden as it has been very sunny! She also filmed another segment of Baking with Mrs Mahood where she made some Ginger bread. You can see the video on the Astley Park Learning at Home YouTube Channel. She even filmed her telling the story of the Ginger Bread Man. It is very funny!
Miss McPartlin
Miss McPartlin has been busy doing some reading for school. She has also been doing some different activities with her little girl. This includes a rainbow picture and some sensory play.
There is also some very special news ...
Mrs Webb is back! Mrs Webb has been off for a little while but she is starting back this week. Mrs Webb has been very busy decorating her garden and making it look very pretty. She has also been spending lots of time with her two daughters Emily and Miss Bibby (who some you might remember). It was Emily's 24th birthday this week so they had a little party at home.
Thank you for all your hard work and I look forward to next weeks pictures.
Stay Safe!
