Hello everyone, its Miss Della Fera here. I hope everyone is well and staying safe. I know you are all working really hard because I have seen some fantastic pictures of your activities and I know your teachers are all very pleased. Keep up the good work!

Next week is going to be Mental Health Awareness Week and we would love you to join in with all the activities we have planned. The theme this year is ‘Kindness’.

As a school we feel it’s very important to promote positive mental health, especially at this difficult and challenging time. There will be lots of us feeling anxious and overwhelmed with the situation right now and I’m sure we are all missing our friends at school. It is really important therefore that we are kind to ourselves, getting enough sleep, eating healthily and getting out in the fresh air.

The Mental Health Support Team in school has been very busy creating some activities and challenges for you to get involved in. Please look out for these activities on our YouTube channel during the week. We would love to see how you get on, so please send in your photos to your class teams for us to have a look at.

So remember everyone, it’s really important to keep talking to family and friends, especially if you feel worried or anxious. Be kind to yourself and one another and remember you’re not alone.

See you all soon, take care and stay safe everyone.

Miss Della Fera and the Mental Health Support Team.
