Hi all you 11G learners, fans, and followers,

I would like to start my blog by thanking those who have persisted throughout the ups and downs of being able to access our Teams Meetings online.  These are early days and I am glad that you stuck with me and we were able to overcome the barriers to access one or both of the events. Like I said at the end of today’s meeting your feedback is very valuable going forward so please email me your thoughts and suggestions.

To those who were unable to attend we had a general hello video meeting on Monday which had some teething problems, so we followed it up with a home scavenger hunt game today.  It was lovely to see Cameron, Dan, Patrick, Taybah, Tanay and Harry & Mrs Armstrong all racing around the house finding the objects I was asking for. It was also nice to chat with our learners and family members.  It was so much fun I forgot to take some screen shots of us all for the blog!

Now I have heard great things about our learners this week. I was delighted when I received photos of Tanay participating in our 11G class bread baking challenge.  I set a task to our learners to practice their functional reading skills by following a set of baking instructions to make ‘Bag Bread’.

I am sure you will agree not only does Tanays bread look great, but he also looks the part with his chef’s hat on!

I have been busy doing various work in and out of school but when I have been home schooling Thomas and Elizabeth this week we have been reading stories, practicing our chemistry by making foam dough, practicing our fine motor skills on peg boards  and venturing into the tree house for picnics.

What has Mrs Cobham been up to?

Hi Everyone this week as well as completing tasks for school I've been looking at mindfulness breathing that can help when you are feeling anxious or worried - let me know what you think of the two that I've shared with you.

Yesterday we had a lovely surprise in the garden - 2 deer wandered in and stayed for a while, I enjoyed watching them from a distance.

Take care and I hope to see you all very soon.

Well I hope you have all enjoyed the read.

Have a wonderful weekend, I can’t wait for our online meeting next week.

Mr Massey
