So we have been busy in Rowan class making a lovely rock Rainbow..........First Mrs Carney collected lots of rocks on her walks with her dog which she brought into school, the children then painted the rocks using the colours of the rainbow. 

What colours are in the Rainbow?? ....Did you guess correctly? Can you sing the Rainbow song??

The colours we used to make our Rainbow were Red, Yellow, Pink, Green, Orange, Purple and Blue........

Once the rocks were all dry we went outside into the school grounds and created our Rainbow. When you come into school again have a little wander around and see if you can spot our rock Rainbow.

We also put some varnish on the Rainbow with the help of an adult to make our rocks waterproof so that the rain will not wash our paint away....it also made them look very shiny......We are very happy with our Rainbow and it brightens up our days.
