Hello Everyone!

There are only a few weeks left of this academic year! It has flown by!

What have 7G been doing this week?

Harry

Harry has continued to work hard at home with some of his learning activities; he has been sequencing the story of the gingerbread man, practicing telling the time and sorting food by its place of origin. Harry has also been taking part in some of the six-star challenges! Well done!

Eshan

Eshan has also been working super hard on his learning activities at home. Eshan has made a wonderful gingerbread man, practiced writing sentences about the gingerbread man story, sorted food by its place of origin and has been telling the time. Eshan has also been taking part in the six-star challenges! Amazing work!

Joshua

Joshua has been very busy this week! He has done some work in his workstation boxes and built some super sentences about the gingerbread man using colourful semantics, which he then wrote out. Joshua has been looking at o’clock in his number work and has also continued with adding one to numbers. Joshua has continued to work on his recognition of sounds for his reading. Joshua has done well at some of the six star challenges as well. Great work!

Reece

Reece has gone back into school this week and has had a great time! He has been practicing asking for items using his iPad, overwriting and sequencing events. Reece has also been giving adults instructions when playing a game using his iPad. Well done Reece!

Katie

Katie has had another really good week in school. She has been practicing writing sentences about the gingerbread man, made her own gingerbread man using a cardboard tube and worked on recognising measurements of time such as o’clock and half past. Katie has really enjoyed seeing her friends and was delighted during our video call on Wednesday when she won the bingo game!

Tyler

Tyler has had a great week back at school! He has tried hard with all his learning, working in a workstation, practicing telling the time and building sentences about the gingerbread man. He has been trying hard with his balancing skills and talking about some reasons for feeling worried. Great work Tyler!

Clayton

Clayton has been busy in school as well! Clayton has written some lovely sentences about the gingerbread man, proved to all of us that he is a whizz at telling the time by completing some really hard challenges, and practicing his balance and co-ordination with some Me and My Body activities.

Ty

Ty has had a good couple of days in school. He has made some good choices and taken part in lots of fun activities with Mrs Mahood and Miss McPartlin. He has really enjoyed taking part in his animal treasure hunt and choosing cars to speed through the tunnel! Well done!

Jacob

Jacob has been good whilst learning from home. He had a go at making a gingerbread man out of a cardboard tube, has read through the gingerbread man story and took part in our class video call!

There isn’t much to report from the adults as we have all been very busy working this week, but we have really enjoyed talking to your families about what a super year you have had in 7G!

Stay Safe!
